IMPACT TRAVEL ALLIANCE is a global community and 501(c)3 nonprofit aimed at improving the world through travel. We educate and empower travelers with the knowledge they need to have a positive impact on local communities and our environment. Our goal is to mobilize all travelers to understand, choose and advocate for sustainable travel options. Our content is rooted in education and advocacy around sustainable tourism – travel that has a positive impact on a destination’s environment, economy and community. Sustainable tourism, while often viewed as a niche, can be applied to any destination, budget or travel style. We believe that by working to incorporate sustainability into all types of travel experiences, we have the potential to change our world through travel.
